Working with marine scientists and conservation groups around the world, Tank’d shines light on important issues affecting our seas and it’s inhabitants. Highlighting both the success stories and the dilemmas. We hope to build better awareness and encourage people to be better stewards of our enviroment and our world’s oceans.

Sea turtles, air-breathing reptiles with streamlined bodies and large flippers, are well adapted to life in the marine environment. They inhabit tropical and subtropical ocean waters throughout the world. Of the seven species of sea turtles, six are found in U.S. waters: green, hawksbill, Kemp’s ridley, leatherback, loggerhead, and olive ridley.
Although sea turtles live most of their lives in the ocean, adult females must return to beaches on land to lay their eggs. They often migrate long distances between foraging grounds and nesting beaches.

If you have more than 2 guests in your party, there will be a one time $50 charge. This covers the costs of having the extra linens put in the unit and the extra cleaning and laundry expenses. There is no extra per night charge for the extra guests.
