You see many workouts for people that have a day job where they sit in a chair most of the day. These workouts claim to give you a great workout from the comfort of your desk so you can keep your work day going. However can something like this actually help?
Long term, there is no chance of it helping you lose weight and get toned up. The reason is you can’t use the intensity you need to really blast fat while in your office. You need to go all out and there is no way your boss would let you do the workout you need in your cube or office. However, if you are just getting started then for the first two weeks a quite workout will have you feeling some things.
So what should you do instead? Get out of the office. Not only will using workout routines outside of your office help you get in a great workout, but it will help you stay sane. You need that mental break from your office to refresh what you’re doing mentally. Both will work together to help you get more done during the day and you’ll feel much better.
So get real about working out and don’t fall for things that make illogical and unrealistic promises.
